- Delegate and build a team: You can and should only do some things yourself: the things you are best at. Stop all the multitasking! Surround yourself with people who can help you achieve your goals. Delegate tasks and put together a strong team that will support your success. If you always do everything yourself, then no one will ever learn how to do things for you, and every burden and problem will always be yours to solve.
- Work on getting the right mindset: Negative emotions will distract you and rob you of focus.
- Use the Five Rs: Reflect, Regroup, Reinforce, Redefine, and Refocus. Take some time and reflect on the past year, regroup and gather up all that is important to you now. Compare it to what you find essential now. Reinforce the things that are the same, redefine what is not, and refocus on your goals.
